Forum Transference Mac Os X

The good news is that Mac OS X is, for the most part, hardware independent. That is, the same OS X that runs on a PowerBook also runs on an iBook and a G4 tower. That means that you can copy Mac OS X, and all installed software and files, directly from one computer to another, and it should boot up and function properly.

Hello! I am wondering how to work with HTC Advantage 7510 in the Disk Drive mode(Not ActiveSync)? This is the mode when the PDA operates like a flash card (at least it is like this in Windows). When I connect my HTC to desktop with Mac OS X 10.4.11. nothing happens, the desktop simply does not see the HTC. I can reach the HTC via Bluetooth but it is not a good way to transfer big files such as movies. I also do not have Missing Sync (or similar program) installed on Mac OS but I suggest that it shall not be needed when the HTC is in Disk Drive Mode, right? Any advice will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I believe the only way to update these apps is by updating the OS X but I'm unable to update the OS X via Apple apps because of outdated apps may be. Some websites suggested changing Apple ID passwords, clearing cache & cookies & rebooting. Since no-one is handing over suggestions here, that must be me. It was reported earlier, and tested again with EasyBCD 2.3b and Yosemite 10.10.3 that despite EasyBCD allows to add Mac OS X entry to Windows 7/8.1 Boot Menu, the entry fails to boot Yosemite seeking machkernel that doesn't exist in that OS. It seems pretty confusing since we’ve been using windows but Mac’s approach of adding a network location is a series of tad straightforward steps. Here’s how you’ll add a network location on Mac. 'Adding/Mapping' a Network Drive Step 1 Open ‘Finder’ Click ‘Finder’ from the dock of your Mac. The finder window will appear on your.

I have this Tivo Transfer app on my mac which is from Roxio as part of Toast. I can't remember where I downloaded it from. I can't seem to find any software information on it and it did not come with Toast 10 when I bought that recently.
98% of anything I record on the Tivo is disallowed from being transferred to my mac.
Does anyone have any information on this? Also, every single time I launch it I get this message that it was downloaded from Microsoft Entourage and OSX asks if I'm sure I want to open it. I say yes every time and yet the next time I launch it it will ask again. I would very much like for that to go away.
