The Temple of Ascension, one of the holiest places throughout the lands of Esperia, was established to pay tribute to the one true god of life, Dura. During the last great invasion of Esperia it was burned and rebuilt. Thousands of years later it stands at the heart of the sprawling city of Ranhom, where the faith of light was reborn.

In the Christian traditions, the Festival of Samhain was transformed into the Feast of All Saints and the Feast of All Souls. Today Witches honor the ancestors and underworld gods, but some also pay homage to the Mighty Dead and offer aid to the wandering Forgotten Dead. Let us explore the entwined traditions of both religious practices and find ways to honor the saints of Witchcraft, our Mighty Dead who have ascended in Love, Will, and Wisdom to the next realm of awareness in the Witch Soul. While we reject the Christian concept of purgatory, we do know that spirits can linger, become stuck, or get lost after death. Let us offer aid to those souls who are forgotten, lost, and wondering, giving them aid, focus, and purpose to rejoin the streams of incarnation. Let us look at traditional food offerings, dumb suppers, and most importantly, the Soul Cake as a means of sacrament, as well as grave visits, repeated prayer and candlelight. The Mighty Dead, Beloved Dead and Forgotten Dead are all a part of hallows tide. Let us bring these practices together in a greater vision working. The night will consist of a short lecture and break followed by a long vision working and end with a Q&A and sharing time. You can use this material to deepen your own personal Samhain celebrations at home this year, and support local community through The Robin’s Nest and the Temple of Witchcraft
